The battle In Deir ez-Zor province in Syria is continuing and because of the amazing brave journalist that the Anna News agency has operating there we have exclusive footage from the front-line of the war zone.
About a month ago we have posted another Anna News documentary film on how the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor was liberated from ISIS. Today we are posting their film on how the military operation continued.
The special report covers the events that took place in Deir ez-Zor from 9 to 24 September 2017 – the airfield deblocade, the crossing of the Euphrates and the cleansing of the right bank of the river towards Maadan by the Tigris division (The Syrian Tiger Forces). The film crew and the special correspondent Sergey Badyuk were witnesses of the ongoing operation to destroy terrorists in the east of Syria.
On the eve of its new stage, the “Syrian democratic forces” supported by the “international coalition” have repeatedly stated that the entire left bank of the Euphrates River is a zone of their interests. The reason for such rhetoric is to be found in the oil and gas fields on the left bank. The race for Syria’s oil can grow into an open confrontation between allies in the fight against international terrorism. “The Jazeera Storm,” as the Americans called their operation, is developing suspiciously fast.
